I grew up playing sports. I was a 3 sport athlete in high school and even went to college initially to play football. This past year I got into pickleball and have gotten so fortunate by selecting Coach Mike from 3P Pickleball. He has a perfect combination of knowledge and patience. I would like to take the time to tell you all about 3P Pickleball. My coach, Mike has changed my game with improved footwork, 3rd shot drops,and dinks. This is after only 4 lessons. ​Having been a soccer player, and a goalkeeper at that, I had only heard of Pickleball through friends. I have also played different types of paddle sports, but all with different approaches to PB. My first time ever holding a PB paddle and being on the court was with Mike. Some lessons later, and I see everything we work on helping me win points and games! I have a natural instinct to go after every ball, and Mike doesn’t just simply say “don’t”, he explains what to look for to decide on whether or not to let the ball fly out or to go after it. His explanations on everything we work on are thorough and with examples of “why” you would want to do that specific action. He is an excellent coach who is personable, patient, knowledgable, and best of all, funny. His lessons are always a joy, and I cannot wait for the next one! 100% recommend you work with Mike!

I enjoyed my lesson with Mike. He was easy to get a hold of to schedule our time. During the lesson he was able to improve my technique through observation, on the spot coaching and swing repetition that resulted in much more consistency in the quality of my hits. I was starting to get back to my Pickleball level after a couple of years hiatus, while my wife was initiating into the Pickleball world. We tried to make this journey on our own but it was slow and unproductive so we decided to accelerate the process by getting help from a coach. That is when my wife contacted Mike, attended few sessions with him and she made so much progress and was so enthusiastic that convinced me to join the sessions with her.
We both see Mike as a supportive, knowledgeable, result-oriented, and empathic coach that communicates very well and makes us feel welcome in the court.
